Somatic Therapy

Somatic Counseling provides individuals with the opportunity to connect with their minds and bodies to help with addressing stress, trauma, and chronic pain.

By providing a safe, nurturing, supportive space, we provide clients the opportunity to address how physical sensations, tension, and movement are reflected and stored emotional experiences.

Not every individual shares the same experiences or life-stories, and our clinicians understand that with these differences come different paths. Rising Phoenix encourages the usage of somatic techniques such as breathing exercises, body awareness, grounding, and yoga movements to reconnect clients with their minds and bodies.
